Thank you to everyone who took part in our NHS Big Tea fundraiser
On Monday 5th July, the team at Livingbridge came together to hold a Big Tea fundraiser for Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation, an independent charitable foundation which has for over 500 years invested in a healthier society, backing people and ideas to drive more equitable health.
The Livingbridge team raised a grand total of £731, which will go towards providing much-needed mental and physical wellbeing support for the incredible staff at Guy’s and St Thomas’ – whose Super-Surge Critical Care COVID-19 Pandemic Response Team recently won the prestigious Impact Award at the Intensive Care Society Awards 2021. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this fundraiser possible.
This latest event builds on Livingbridge’s longstanding relationship with the foundation. Wol Kolade has served as Chair of the Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation since October 2015, cementing its position as the leading healthcare foundation in the UK, and the staff at Livingbridge have been involved in various fundraising initiatives over the years.
In September this year, the Livingbridge team will be further building on its involvement by participating in the Foundation’s flagship St Thomas’ Abseil fundraiser, with volunteers descending the 160 ft hospital on Westminster Bridge Road alongside the iconic Houses of Parliament and the River Thames.
