Established in 2016, WSG supports c.6,000 customer across two key offerings:
Managed Services – where WSG supports customers with complex waste needs to optimise their waste solutions. WSG simplifies the waste co-ordination by managing the collection and disposal, providing administration support and driving ESG outcomes and reporting.
Collections – where WSG provides customer focused waste collection and disposal solutions direct to customers.
WSG services most of the key sectors that drive the Australian economy: education, health, manufacturing and retail amongst others.
Led by CEO Matt Tamplin, WSG is a high-quality, essential service business which has demonstrated consistent organic growth and high customer retention driven by its market leading customer service focus. Over the last five years this has been supplemented with strategic acquisitions which have broadened WSG’s service offering and geographic coverage.
Livingbridge’s investment will help build on this track-record; supporting WSG to provide best-in-class customer outcomes as it grows further in existing and new markets.
Sustainability outcomes are becoming an ever more important part of waste management solutions. WSG intends to be at the forefront of these changes as a sustainability partner for its customers to drive improved environmental outcomes.

The investment marks the fifth investment of Livingbridge Australia since opening the Melbourne office in 2016.
Ares provided a unitranche debt facility to support Livingbridge’s investment. Advisors to Livingbridge included Stanton Road Partners, Trident DCA, Allens, EY and ERM. Advisors to WSG included KPMG, HSF, LEK and Deloitte.
