The Private Equity Awards 2020 – Livingbridge shortlisted for two awards

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for two awards at this year’s Real Deals Private Equity Awards.

 

The sale of Sykes Holiday Cottages in 2019 will be up for UK Mid-cap Deal of the year. We first invested in Sykes in 2015, and the company enjoyed a record year in 2019 with bookings up 26 per cent year-on-year, taking 1.6m people on holiday. They also won Large Management Team of the Year at the National BVCA Management Team Awards.

Along with the financial return, the judging panel considers how much we guided the team, accelerated the company’s growth, and the wider impact of the success story for the asset class and economy.

We’re also nominated from UK House of the Year, which recognises the overall achievement of UK buyout houses in the calendar year of 2019, reflecting success in fundraising, new deals and exits, as well as the overall evolution of the firm.

A select judging panel of leading industry practitioners will be selecting the winners, and we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for the awards on the 22nd April 2020.
